Commercial Component #1 — Workers' Comp Policy and Endorsements

This course is geared towards those people who have a good understanding of the workers' compensation policy but want to gain a higher level of technical expertise in this area including the endorsements that can be used.

This course is part of a certificate program called the Ten Components to Commercial Competence. Each course can certainly be taken as a standalone class, but if you are interested in seeing the full series, the courses involved and earning the certification, that information can be found HERE.

Let the fun begin with a complete review of the Workers’ Compensation policy! You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of:

  • The importance of this coverage
  • What it does and doesn’t cover
  • What endorsements are necessary to adequately cover your insured
  • State law requirements for policy issuance
  • How to explain these issues to your insureds
  • How to check to make sure the correct information is being used by the carrier.

CLASS TIME:  9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
EXAM*:  4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

* The exam is optional, but you must take it and pass in order to receive the certification. CEUs do not require an exam.
