Commercial Component #2 - CGL Policy & Employer Practices Liability Policy

This course is geared towards those people who have a good understanding of the Commercial General Liability (CGL) and Employer Practices Liability (EPL) policies but want to gain a higher level of technical expertise in this area.

This course is part of a certificate program called the Ten Components to Commercial Competence. Each course can certainly be taken as a standalone class, but if you are interested in seeing the full series, the courses involved and earning the certification, that information can be found HERE.

You'll gain a better understanding of the CGL policy and who it covers at this class, including:

  • Discussion of Coverage A exclusions (such as property in your care)
  • Coverage B (personal injury)
  • Coverage C (what, if any, medical payments are available to others)
  • The CGL's limit structure will be reviewed for the "adequacy of limits" issue

We'll also take a look at:

  • What the EPL policy covers
  • Why you need it
  • What type of defense and limits it offers.

CLASS TIME:  9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
EXAM*:  4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
CEUs: 7

* The exam is optional, but you must take it and pass in order to receive the certification. CEUs do not require an exam.
