Commercial Component #3-Business Auto Policy With Endorsements

This course is geared towards those people who have a good understanding of the Business Auto and Garage Policies and want to gain a higher level of technical expertise in this area.

This course is part of a certificate program called the Ten Components to Commercial Competence. Each course can certainly be taken as a standalone class, but if you are interested in seeing the full series, the courses involved and earning the certification, that information can be found HERE.


Let's learn what risk is eligible for a Business Auto policy (BAP) as opposed to a Personal Auto policy (PAP) - even when the vehicle is registered to an individual! We'll discuss:

  • BAP coverages and important endorsements
  • How to explain to your insured that sometimes certain coverage must be purchased elsewhere – or it's just not available
  • Differences between the Garage Policy, BAP & CGL
  • Which insureds need a Garage Policy from a premises liability and products & completed operations issues point of view
  • Importance of Garagekeepers Legal Liability coverage in conjunction with a Garage Policy

CLASS TIME:  9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
EXAM*:  4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
CEUs: 7

* The exam is optional, but you must take it and pass in order to receive the certification. CEUs do not require an exam.
