Commercial Component #6 - Commercial Inland Marine Policy and Commercial Crime Policy

This course is geared towards those people who have a good understanding of the Commercial Inland Marine and Crime Policies and now want to further their expertise in these areas.

This course is part of a certificate program called the Ten Components to Commercial Competence. Each course can certainly be taken as a standalone class, but if you are interested in seeing the full series, the courses involved and earning the certification, that information can be found HERE.

CLASS TOPICS:

Commercial Inland Marine

  • Overview of this coverage, which is essentially a "non-standard market"
  • Available coverages
  • Exposures your clients might have and how to cover them
  • An "analysis exposure approach" as opposed to a particular policy.

Commercial Crime

  • Reasons why businesses need insurance against crime loss
  • Major crime forms, their specific purpose, and the important characteristics of each plan.

REGISTRATION: 8:30 a.m.
CLASS TIME:  9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
EXAM*:  4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
CEUs: 7

* The exam is optional, but you must take it and pass in order to receive the certification. CEUs do not require an exam.
