Registry News: RMV is Defining Its New Normal & Your Feedback Can Help

Posted by MAIA on May 18, 2020

The MA Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) is currently looking at all of its workflow processes to determine what the “new normal” will look like as Massachusetts moves toward reopening. MAIA spoke with the RMV and learned that there will be both short- and long-term changes, but these are still in the discussion stage. Rest assured that MAIA will be part of the conversation, and we would value your input.

As with everything related to COVID-19, things are changing quickly, and processes that are in place today could change tomorrow. The Registry is committed to keeping communications open with MAIA and the agent community.

Kathy Cormier, Member Relations Advocate at MAIA, will be in regular contact with the Registry. If you would like to share your thoughts on issues such as branch locations, B2B areas, processing for essential/non-essential transactions, South Shore access for agents – or any other RMV related topic, please send your comments to Kathy and she will bring them to the table!
