    QUESTION

This question was answered based upon current rules, regulations & statutes in effect on May 04, 2019

I am looking for the most up to date copy of the Massachusetts Homeowners policy and the Massachusetts Auto policy.

Some of our auto body shops are stating that they will not work on Progressive estimates.

    Please advise.

    ANSWER

Kathy Cormier:  I’m sending this to Irene Morrill, VP Technical Affairs for the HO policy side of your question.

As far as auto, I’ve attached the MAIP 2016 policy.  With competition carriers can change their rules and forms.  We have carriers that are on the 2008 MAP, 2015 MAP, 2016 MAP and the Countrywide Auto policy.  Also, some carriers have created their own policies or could have altered whatever edition of the MAP that they chose to adopt.

Irene Morrill: There is no “Massachusetts” HO policy

    I only know "ISO” policies
Some carriers are on the ISO HO-91
Some carriers like MPIUA are on the ISO HO-2000
Some carriers are on the ISO HO-2011
