This question was answered based upon current rules, regulations & statutes in effect on May 12, 2020
One of my customers received an IRP renewal application to be completed in May. The application is calling for the actual mileage from 7/1/19 to 6/30/2020. If the insured is suppose to return the application before the end of May, how can they report the actual mileage from May 2020 to 6/30/2020. This is probably a stupid question and I was going to tell her to just estimate the mileage for May and June...is that how it works??
Sorry to bother with such a stupid questions, just want to be sure I tell her the right thing.
Kathy Cormier: I received notice from the RMV:
We identified a typo on the IRP renewal sheet and resent a letter and email to carriers explaining the correct reporting period is actually 7/1/18 to 6/30/2019
