Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI)

The Institutes has announced that the exam component of the AAI package will be web-based beginning January 1, 2020. Students will need to bring their own device (laptop) to take the exam.

The Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) Designation gives you the tools you need to establish a clear professional advantage in the marketplace and fulfill your commitment to customer service. In today's increasingly complex property-casualty insurance marketplace, only producers with in-depth insurance knowledge and a strong focus on customer service have a competitive edge.

How to Earn the AAI Designation:

  1. Attend 9 one-day seminars and pass the corresponding 30-question multiple-choice exam, and
  2. Complete the free online Ethical Guidelines for Insurance Professionals: Ethics 311. (This is a requirement of all The Institutes' associate designation programs.)
