Members Won’t Have to Pay to Use ACORD Forms!

    Although ACORD will begin charging fees for the use of their insurance industry forms as of 1/1/2020, MAIA members with annual P&C gross revenue of less than $50 million will not have to pay! Why not? Because our national association, the Big “I,” has agreed to pay ACORD an annual fee so that Big “I” members don’t have to. (Remember, if you’re a MAIA member, you’re automatically a Big “I” member, too!) You will experience no change in your workflow or use of ACORD forms, with the exception of an annual confirmation of your Big “I” membership!  

    Independent agencies and brokerages that do not belong to the Big “I” will have to pay fees to ACORD. Of course, they can always join MAIA to become a Big “I” member and take advantage of this benefit and so much more!
