RMV: Appointment-Only Online Reservation System & Other Measures

    The RMV continues to take steps to minimize customer volume at physical locations, and has implemented an online reservation system for making appointments to conduct certain “necessary and required” in-person transactions at the eight open and operating RMV Service Centers. These essential transactions include certain CDL transactions and some new registrations.

    As outlined in the above memo, the RMV has also instituted these other new COVID-19 response measures, including:

    • Suspending Issuance of New REAL IDs and Non-Commercial Learner’s Permit Exams
    • 60-Day Extension of CDL Medical Certificates
    • Suspension Hearings and Reinstatement Procedures.
