Drivers Can Now Use Specialized Features on Road Tests

Most newer vehicles are equipped with "specialized features," such as backing sensors, back-up cameras, automatic parallel parking, and GPS-guided independent operation. These features substantially assist a driver with certain driving, parking, or backing skills.

Effective immediately, customers will be allowed to use specialized features during a road test, as long as they can demonstrate their driving skills and abilities without relying only on these specialized features.  Previously, these specialized features needed to be turned off or disabled for road tests.
